iPhone surreality

Yesterday the phone crashed for the first time. It first showed the "favorites" dialing screen, and nothing else. Then it showed a blank white screen. I ended up hard resetting it, which worked. But today, in my camera folder, I have two new pictures. One of my "favorites" dialing screen, and one of a blank white screen. What in the world?

I'm definitely not running beta software on the beastie. But yes, I think the sequence was likely right (holding the home button, for a soft reset, and tapping the screen). Interesting.

The "beta" part is old, you're likely on 2.0 or even 2.1. You hold the home button and the power button to take a screenshot. I discovered it by accident (though not through a crash!) and love it. If you've got sound on, it even makes a shutter-click noise and sorta blinks the screen.
