Why pick a perfectly good path when there's a nice shitty one instead?

Because walking around with the big boots to protect you from the shit gets tiring. And the smell doesn't do it for most people.

(1) because our parents picked a shitty path too, and that's the one we know.

(2) because no one taught us how to differentiate between paths

(3) because we like pain

(4) because the path looked more interesting/easy when we started

(5) because cow shit makes for manure, and we're hoping for flowers

my personal thought is that the reason why people pick such shitty paths is that they don't know any better..... or are slackers, and don't wanna go thru a struggle to get anywhere worthwhile....

they forget the hardships that our grandparents went thru to make a living... and some are living the easy life... and taking life for granted.

its easy to slack off, and be in the masses. while its something different to say, i'm worth it, and trundle off into the unknown and find your own path, which satisfies your inner self worth, to make oneself happy.

and in that path, you often find others who are willing to beat back the masses and are also in their own search.... and in that open space you find & make some pretty cool friendships.
