Swiped from [livejournal.com profile] d3l1r1um. This is the LJ Year in Review meme. Take the first entry from each month and post the first sentence/paragraph/whatever makes most sense. I added a note to it, classifying the entry.

January 3rd: invitation: We WILL be having brunch this Sunday. We do hope to see you all there. I'll be sending out an email shortly.

February 10th: A meme: Where have you lived? Think about what cities or towns you've lived in (not just visited) in your life, and post them in your journal.

March 13th: whining: In the last two weeks, I've sent emails to five or six friends, who have not responded. I've been ignored in person by three people I consider friends. I'm not sure if I committed some unforgivable sin, failed to use deodorant, or did something else.

April 1st: amusing link: Yes, I am easily amused, but I thought I would post this anyway. From: http://www.livejournal.com/users/saxikath/207507.html?view=712851#t712851

May 1st: another meme: OK, so gizbot and I took this meme together, and we're alike, and different. ( See? )

June 6th: life update: gizbot and I took a three day weekend and went up to Mendocino. Whenever I take time off to watch the ocean I remember how much I love it. It was fun & relaxing. Then we came back to the reality of poopie babies and massive amounts of work-related emails. Oh well, it was worth it.

July 5th: invitation: It's time for the monthly Brunch at Judith & Charles' house!

August 2nd: invitation: Kabuki-West is having it's monthly First Tuesday gathering at our house TODAY, at 7:30 p.m. Feel free to drop by. It's potluck style, and we'll make spaghetti. Hope to see you here!

September 2nd: good things: My firm is matching donations to the Red Cross for Katrina victims. Sometimes I remember why I decided to work here in the first place. Ask your employer to match too.

October 24th: yet another meme: you are mediumauqamarine #66CDAA

November 7th: on voting: I'm voting NO across the board. But whichever way you prefer voting, please do vote. (Ewwwxcept if you want to vote for Prop 73, in that case stay the heck home!)

December 2nd: invitation: We haven't been social in much too long. So we want to plan a leisurely brunch with cookie baking/swap in December.

So yes, mostly invitations and memes with the occasional random link or point of amusement.

I wouldn't consider going on meds "sinking low enough." Sinking low enough is when you cannot cope with the fact that you need meds and do something stupid/fatal.

I was going to ask about the kitchen. Don't fret. We have been living in this house for two years and three months, and we still haven't fixed the fact that the rear of the house has no electricity. So we're still behind you in the don't-fix-it sweepstakes.
