No one has time. I think we'll reschedule for January. That way we can pretend it is a birthday party, and maybe more people will come by.

In other news, I can't deciding what I consider humanity's worst invention to enter in this contest. Any suggestions?

I find disposable diapers to be a wonderful invention indeed. On the other hand, the culture that considers cars that are good for 15 years to be a 2-years-to-disposable item boggles the mind.

I still stand by my assessment. I know I use many things that aren't ecologically correct; it's more or less unavoidable unless you want to live at a lower tech level. Disposable diapers are convenient, but they are still non-biodegradable (though their contents may well be ;).
