Eye of Argon & other Bad bad writing

At brunch we were discussing bad writing (not to mention the upcoming Bad Porn Interpretive Reading Event, found by Craig). bellicaneko mentioned that she used to attend a reading of Eye of Argon, something I had had never heard of. But, of course, like so much bad writing, it's online (see link above).

I found this gem through the Bulwer-Lytton opening sentences contest whose 2004 winner came up with this stinker: She resolved to end the love affair with Ramon tonight . . . summarily, like Martha Stewart ripping the sand vein out of a shrimp's tail . . . though the term "love affair" now struck her as a ridiculous euphemism . . . not unlike "sand vein," which is after all an intestine, not a vein . . . and that tarry substance inside certainly isn't sand . . . and that brought her back to Ramon.

Yes, I'm easily amused. I'm also avoiding work. Bad me.
