Ah, socializing...
Jan. 11th, 2005 01:11 amFinally had a brunch again, after a much too long hiatus. It was lovely, with good company, good food, and some fun games (thanks
toxgunn for the Castle (a fun 2 player version of Carcassonne), C & I have played it tonight as well.
The weekend was made even better because we spent a bit of Saturday cleaning, and the living room is once again habitable. One of the disadvantages of having a full schedule is that the first thing I'm inclined to drop is the household tasks. This is OK for a week or so, but after 2 weeks, the bathroom really needs to be cleaned, things need to get picked up, and the kitchen has been overrun with baby objects. It's so nice to start out a week with a reasonably clean house. Of course, we still have a full load of dishes to do, left over from brunch. But it was worth it.
