Bad people?

On my drive into work this morning I noticed a license plate that said "Bad Barb," on a car driven by a woman with a large dog on her lap. I was trying to figure out why anyone would be willing to have a custom license plate (which actually costs money every year) that effectively refers to them like a dog behaving badly. Maybe the license plate refers to the dog? Or maybe it's like the Dread Pirate Roberts, a title that should scare people. Anyway, I was boggled. This is probably more of a function of my lack of sleep (I hate the day when my billing sheets are due) rather than inherent interestingness of the license plate.

Maybe she picked the plate on a day when she'd just gotten a poor haircut?

Maybe she's the barber and the plate was court-ordered punishment for giving consistently bad haircuts? I know some people who deserve that type of warning label!
