Good brunch

We had a fun brunch. Much carb loaded food was consumed. Many games were played(Carcassone and San Juan x 2). Fun discussions with friends were had. soof was her fabulous self & played with Andrew, and almost managed to get him to sleep. She also took him out to play on the swings.

toxgunn came by bearing much evil sugar in the form of chocolate croissants. xthread and bellicaneko dropped by with JB, who was visiting. They brought games & fabulous food (if you weren't here you missed the lox & strawberries and cream). composerjk came by but didn't eat anything. learnteach, back from his travels, came by and got roped into games. I think he even enjoyed them. selkiediver dropped by on her bicycle for a little while, before heading home to deal with family issues (hugs). evilcyber came on his powered version of the same, some time later. Even gomijacogeo and generalist came by to partake.

I think except for the three J's (JB, JB, and JW), I think everyone who came by is on LJ. That's a little scary.

It was good to see everyone. Every time we have brunch, I realize that I really enjoy your company & we should be more social. So, if you are feeling social, and it's early give us a call. If it's late, we'd still love to see if you if you can come by, but we are stuck at home (baby-sitters are hard to find).

Thanks for the hugs. Right now, I'm taking all I can get. It was nice to see folks. It was definitely good to get out of the house for awhile and brunch provided an excellent excuse reason for me to drag my lazy get some more exercise.

Thanks for the pat on the back for helping with baby. I adore him, and he's quite the warrior against sleep. I admire his tenacity... (umm, yeah, TENACITY. THAT's it.)

So, waaaaaay too much yummy wonderful food, and a full day of friends and baby. One cannot ask for more. Well, one CAN, but one wouldn't GET it, so what's the POINT? :)

A warrior against sleep... at least now we know his indian name. :) I really do appreciate the baby help. My sis and I got about 30 minutes of uninterrupted chat, while baby was having a fabulous time on the swings. I don't know if I could ask for anything more... except maybe a little warrior against sleep who is a little less enthusiastic in his battles. I've got a bruise.
