Behind the curve again

I'm sure at least one of you can recommend a CD ripping software that works on Windows. Right? Because I just realized that Books-on-Tape are wonderful, except that I own neither a working portable tape player nor a working portable CD player. On the other hand, MP3s are portable, and there is this Treo 650 that claims to play them & lives in my pocket.

The Treo 650 does work pretty well to play MP3s, but I've found that the volume doesn't go that loud (for say, in a car) & the sound doesn't go through my bluetooth ear-piece. I'm dubious about headphones working in general with it, but I've not experimented.

Thanks for the info. I haven't played with it yet for spoken word, but I thought the range was pretty mediocre for music.
