being social is fun
It's always good to catch up with people. And it's often hard to find the time to talk to everyone. Today was a very social day. We had breakfast with my parents, then Andrew and I went up to LM's house and hung out with LM and her son C, who is almost 2. I can see the difference in Andrew... he is more talkative after hanging out with C. He also had a blast crawling up and down stairs. We have a single level Ranch style house, so he has not really had the opportunity to play on stairs before. I think we need to make sure he is around more kids who are a little older... that's how he learned to crawl as well, observing a child who was a bit more advanced.
Then, I went to coffee, to meet Charles, who was talking with
src,
selkiediver, and
learnteach. It was fun to catch up, and chat, even though I was the only non-diver in that discussion.
Now if there were only a few more hours in the day, so I would have time to wind down AND get enough sleep, that would make this the perfect day.
