Well, this sucked...

So I figured a three day weekend was a good excuse to finally deal with my wisdom teeth. I had them out on Wednesday morning. I was a little congested that morning. By Thursday evening, I was in the middle of a full-blown flu. I'm pretty sure all the sneezing managed to dislodge one of the blood clots, so I've been having dry socket. I recommend against, if you have the choice.

I've been drinking infinite amounts of hot tea with honey, and taking a Tylenol every four hours. Other than that, I've been sleeping, a lot.

Being sick sucks. Being sick through a three (four) day weekend, really sucks. And being sick enough that I'll probably not make it to work on Monday either really really sucks.

Diluted clove oil on some gauze will help with the dry socket. I don't recall the dilution dosage though, so you may want to look that up. Or call your dentist. They should know too.

Yes.

Hugs!

I had dry socket as well and the dentist packed in gauze with clove oil. It really does work.
